Aged Care Employees Day is our opportunity to recognise the great work of aged care workers at Leigh Place and more broadly, and to thank you for your care and service.
There are over 360,000 aged care employees in Australia, who contribute to caring for more than 1.3 million older people.
In addition to nurse practitioners, registered nurses or enrolled nurses, our team includes allied health professionals, personal care assistants, cleaning and laundry staff, catering team members and chefs, management, maintenance, administration, leisure and lifestyle staff, and more.
